I'm a high schooler, a lover of writing, and your Little Birdie. I started this blog in October 2017 and I've enjoyed every moment writing it since then. I originally created Another Little Birdie to cultivate my writing skills and so anybody can read or appreciate my musings, but it's grown into a place where I can do/learn so much more! Because of my shy personality, I chose to make it anonymous, where I can meet new people all over the world, like you who's reading this now! The blog name "Another Little Birdie" stems from the common phrase "A little birdie told me...." where the "little birdie" is an unidentified person who gives out thoughts and ideas. This is my goal; I hope to be just one of many people who sparks interest and curiosity in their audience. Ten random facts about myself:
- I'm a high school student!
- I currently live in North Carolina, the only place I’ve ever lived in. I honestly couldn’t imagine living anywhere else, but I would love to explore all parts of the world.
- I have one older brother who'll be in college soon.
- Both my parents were born in India. My grandparents and cousins live there so I’ve been to India around 5 times in my life!
- I am interested in pursuing a career in medicine, although I’m not entirely sure what I want to be. I think I would enjoy medical research or something with children.
- I love swimming and being in water. I used to be on a swim team but I wasn’t a fan of the competitive nature so I stopped. It still remains a fun hobby for me!
- I have been wearing glasses ever since I was eight years old and now alternate between wearing glasses and contacts.
- I love ice cream! I even read a book about it (Sweet Spot by Amy Ettinger- really good book if you enjoy ice cream). My favorite flavor is “Founder’s Favorite” from Cold Stone Creamery.
- Among my favorite TV shows are Friends, Frasier, The Office, and a lot more. Some of my favorite movies are Dirty Dancing, The Shawshank Redemption, and the best one: Finding Nemo!
- One of my favorite hobbies is calligraphy and hand lettering. I find it so relaxing and the results are always wonderful!
